Small brown spot on white of eyes?

My rabbit is all black with one white spot on her head.one of her eyes is blue and the other is half blue and brown.what does this mean?

  • Answer:

Your rabbit is vienna marked. The vienna gene is recessive and responsible for blue eyed white rabbits and markings on colored rabbits as well as blue or partially blue eyes. Theres no adverse effects, just a pretty rabbit.

If there is nothing wrong with the eye like another stated, it's just unique coloring. It's a rare occurrence in rabbits to my knowledge, it's quite common in dogs like Australian Shepherds though. I also know a Jack Russel/Chihuahua cross that has it like your rabbit, one all blue and the other half and half. So basically unless he's blind, he's just fine, it means nothing except his genes were having a battle on dominance for the eyes and color. =p

Can you post a picture of her eyes? When rabbits have cloudy/blue eyes it usually means they are blind in that eye. Or of course she could just have really awesome colored eyes.
