  • Answer:

I would try feeding him frozen but thawed out daphnia, it is the best food to releive constipation in bettas. But you also need to be sure that the tank is heated to a stable temp of 78 -82 degrees 24-7 or he will have trouble digesting food.

Other answers

In my unfortunate experience, the fish I've had with swim bladder disease die of it within a couple days, sometimes hours. Is your betta floating upside-down or vertical to the water's surface? How do you know he hasn't pooped? How old is he? I've answered with more questions than answers, but I wish your betta the best.
