Would a mossball (marimo) be okay for an Axolotl tank?

I have 4 moss balls in with my axie. I've had no issues at all. Don't expect them to float around with no water flow, though:) They are algae balls essentially. The only thing they'll do really is consume a tiny bit of the nutrients in your tank. It won't do much to help your cycle.

It's probably ok, as long as it's been enough so that the lotl doesn't accidentally swallow it. If it does, I'd imagine no harm done since it's just a bunch of bacteria. It will help with cycling and help get rid of some wastes in the tank.
