Why I can't connect to wi-fi with my samsung galaxy s3 mini?
-
I create a hotspot with my wifi router software on windows xp laptop. But why my samsung galaxy s3 mini couldn't connect to wifi, while it works fine for my brother's iphone?

Answer:
Windows XP has been abondoned by Microsoft, and does not receive any new updates or features. A newer OS will support the type of network Android phones can connect to. Upgrade your laptop to Windows 7 and create an AP WPA2 hotspot. The type of wireless networks Windows XP supports have been proven to be insecure, and can be broken into by hackers, and as a result newer devices will refuse to connect to them because of the security threat.
