    Dyn is stopping their "free" DNS name (domain) service. You can still "buy" service from them, but I would stay away from a company that starts off with free, then makes it harder and harder to keep the DNS name one has, each time trying to get you to sign up and pay. It is cheaper to buy a domain name from other services, like GoDaddy and many others. Why would anyone pay Dyn $25 a year, when other service sell domain names for the $10 to $15 range... Dyn has basically done a negative option marketing scheme - get people to rely on their domain names for the past 10 years+, then now hold everyone for ransom to pay from now on. There are other service like DTDNS and NO-IP. Check them out. Even if you have to pay, they may be cheaper.
