How are Hybrid Pi model and T model interchangeable?

Should i buy an arduino or a raspberry pi model b , for robotics.?

  Read more about it first. Here's a link to the Mag-Pi - a free magazine (21 issues (free to download), telling you how to use the Raspberry Pi for lots and lots of things, incuding a robot quadcopter (helicopter with 4 propellers) and a Lego NXT robot, and loads of other projects. R-Pi is very flexible, can run many programs at once, lots of the programming done for you by other people, internet access built in. And Python is included on te Pi from the beginning, exactly the right language to start with. Arduino is quite different from a Pi. Runs only one program a time, you have to write that program, and write it in C - can't use Python. There are things Arduino is very good at, but they are not things for a beginner.
