Why does my monitor keep going black?

I don't know what happened but one day my monitor just randomly started to go black. I had to turn it off and on again to get it to work again but it started to keep on happening. ...show more

Answer:
Reseat both ends of the video cable and reconnect the power cord at both ends. try to reproduce the error by shaking the unit and cords to isolate the problem.

It's not the power supply, it's the image board. If it's turning on and off just fine, but going black, it's definitely an image board issue, You'll have to get a new one, get it refurbished or just buy a new tv. Need anymore help I'll be here. http://www.electrowiz.us Thanks.

Bad power supply in the monitor maybe. Could be a short in the video cord.
