Can I connect dual monitors through DVI and HDMI?

Is it possible to connect two monitors to one PC,but one is using DVI and the other is using HDMI?

    Yes, as long as the graphics processing unit supports monitors on both connectors. The HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) and DVI(Digital Video Interface) must be on the same GPU unless your board supports use of both. The software may or may not allow use of both depending on the manufacturer's standards. However GPU standards now adays are that they support atleast 2 monitors. If you're using an addon GPU and it only has 2 connectors both connectors should work with the driver. If the video is built on the motherboard, it may be different -- but most will allow it because the GPU is manufactured by either Intel, AMD, or Nvidia. Intel can be a little on the picky side though.
