Mac book pro is better, My friend has this device fro last 4 months, and he has not faced any problem with that, So I suggest you should go with this....

Obviously the pro is better. For just those things I'd say the mac book air. It's lighter and offered in a smaller size. For anything more computationally intensive like photo or video editing I'd go with a macbook pro. If you can wait two months there's supposed to be a better macbook air around the corner. Possibly a 12in with retina display??
