Whats the difference between macbook pro with retina display and macbook air if macbook aur had retina?

  Current macbook airs do not have a retina display, however there are rumors that one will be available in as little as 2 months. The relative sizes of the 13 in macbook pro and and macbook air are about the same with the macbook air being tapered in the front and the display and processing power on the macbook pro is superior to the macbook air. The macbook air is a half pound lighter and will give longer battery life because of the slower processor and lower resolution screen. The pro doesn't cost much more either... Check it out in the store and compare the back ends of both the machines, the height is practically the same. Look at the displays in person and if you don't immediately fall in love with the retina display or if you don't need a faster processor then go for the air or wait to see if they come out with a macbook air with a retina display (but it'll still have a slower processor).
