How do I save a video from a CD to a computer?

How do you save a video from a homemade cd onto your computer without taking the video off the cd?

    Your video is in DVD format like Video_TS and Audio_TS. You can use dvd ripping software to rip the video from your CD to computer. This will not affect your CD. Just making a copy of the video on your computer. And here is a guide about how to rip DVD to computer. Hope it helps you.

The only way to do that properly is to use a specialized program that can RIP the video from DVD. When I say "rip", that means to copy video from disc into a format playable on your computer. Check this link for more info and some nice rippers/players http://lifehacker.com/316478/top-10-free-video-rippers-encoders-and-converters Please note - if you want to save a HD video, save it in MKV format. For standard definition, any AVI file is good.

sounds like it's a DVD. Are they folders that say AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS and the audio one is empty... and the video one has .vob files? if so it's a DVD are you on a mac or PC? If it's a DVD you should be able to play it from the folders once you copy it to your HD. What are you trying to do? Why do you want to copy it to your computer?
