Are these good specs for video editing?

I'm just wondering if these are good specs for a laptop since I would be using it a lot for editing and rendering videos in Sony Vegas: Intel Celeron 1007 dual core processor. ...show more

No, to edit video you need kick *** hardware. Better off with a desktop and a much higher spec. if you must though, get a better processor than a 'celeron' and get more ram 16gb would be more like it. Also lose the HDD and get a SSD for editing and a quick 2-4tb drive for the movie files, oops then you'd need a PC again. Editing on a laptop would be painful......

Those specs indicate its a low budget laptop. Video editing using Sony Vegas would perform terribly.
