How to clear programs from the windows start up menu?

I Can't Open Any Programs from Start Menu, it opens Windows Picture and Fax Viewer named rundll32.. How to fix this error?

  Sounds like your default program settings got messed up. My suggestion would be to do a System Restore to the point before it started happening. If that doesn't work or isn't an option, then you would have to repair / reinstall Windows. You can try doing a scan to fix the problem or use the Windows install disc to repair it. You would go into command prompt and type sfc /scannow to do the scan. Otherwise use the Windows disc to repair it: insert the disc, restart the computer, and follow the prompts to repair / reinstall it.
