VSDC and Lightworks are among the more respected free movie making programs for Windows which are more full-featured than Movie Maker. http://vsdc-free-video-editor.software.informer.com/ http://www.lwks.com/ The ghosting effect can be done either as greenscreen overlay or as an after-effect. Both of these programs can help with that. You should experiment a bit to see which methods work best for your desired overall effects. Personally, I might not shoot the scene all at once, but shoot the "ghost" separately.
