What is the best indoor antenna for tv?

What is the best indoor antenna for a Smart Samsung TV?

  • I don't wanna waste my money getting the wrong one so please give the name or model of the best ones. Thanks

  • Answer:

hello for better tv reception...the tv antenna should see the the tv tower (transmitter antenna )...so a bad roof antenna is better than a good indoor antenna..... for installing an antenna on the roof....first you should find direction of tower....then choose a point to see the tower. a clear path.....

This is a tough question to answer. Too many factors affect over-the-air reception of HD signals. The basic design of antennas don't vary much. In a given situation, you could find that a cheap, basic, brand X antenna out performs an expensive, powered, brand name unit. You could start by asking people in your area which antenna they've had good luck with. Personally, I've had best luck with the flat, square antennas. You can lie them flat, lean them against a wall or the TV itself, or hang them on the wall. Keep in mind that the antenna may work great for some channels and not at all for others. If you spend some time looking around for a good antenna, then spending some more time finding the best place to put it, you'll eventually find what you need and avoid paying outrageous cable/satellite TV fees. I live in a small city and I can pull in 33 over-the-air stations. I supplement those with an $8 monthly fee for Netflix streaming.
