The whining that is going on is from liberals whining about the poor and underprivileged that will be disenfranchised by having to show ID to vote. Continually whining about how there is no voter fraud to start with and it isn't needed? Well then it will do no harm so why fight it. States are even offering free ID to those who can't afford one. Now on the other completely unrelated issue you brought up I have a gun, two actually and had a background check on each of them and a waiting period. I have no objection to that and never have. So what psychotic in particular bought an assault rifle from a dealer and did not get a background check?

A. You can't purchase an assault rifle without having a dealers license from the B.A.T.F. You would hate my 7 year old nephews Airsoft gun because it looks like a MILITARY WEAPON. In my state, background checks are mandatory for a gun purchase. A handgun takes 7 days for approval. You idio$s answering this question have no idea about the U.S. Constitution.
