How long does USPS take to deliver a package?

How long does it take USPS to deliver from Chicago to the UK? via First class international package?

  It depends on a few factors including current weather conditions and the postal route it takes. I've personally had experience mailing internationally, and know that it can be anywhere from 7 to 15 days. But again, it depends on how it's getting there. The old joke used to be "make sure you write 'air mail' on it" because there were times when it went by boat. So if it goes by air, still expect a minimum of 7 days as it needs time to leave one country and enter another. It's not so easy to send postal mail these days.
