  • Where in canada,,,,i do not have to wearing winter clothes / boots / gloves 70% of the time? where is the least cold / warmest place all year round in canada to live.........?

  • Answer:

There is no place in Canada that never has some winter weather. Southern BC is the mildest place but you will need gloves and a parka occasionally. Complaining about the weather is our national Pastime.

South western British Columbia -- Vancouver, the lower-mainland and Vancouver Island -- are the only places in Canada which do not get sub-zero temperatures and snow during nearly all winters. Temperatures in south west BC will typically be a few degrees above freezing during the winter months. On the flip side, it typically gets a fair amount of rain over the winter month.

Jayla, be serious kid, there isn't any, in winter you will need to layer up, even on the west coast, which gets a slightly milder climate, but it gets cold....

You will have to wear winter clothes in the winter. Unless you enjoy being cold. The father south you go the warmer it is. Niagara is probably the warmest, other parts of southern Ontario are also milder in winter The weather changes drastically with the seasons here, you can be boiling in the summer and freezing in the winter. I like the change of seasons personally. But there is nowhere in Canada that doesn't have a normal winter, like at least 4 months.

Just to clarify this, all places in Canada have at least some kind of winter weather, although you can certainly find places where it's not extreme. Victoria, BC has the mildest winter in the country. The daily high in Victoria throughout December, January and February is 8.8°C, or 48°F. The daily low (from Dec - Feb) is 3.5°C or 38°F. Keep in mind these are just averages, though, and sometimes it gets colder than that. So you will need some kind of coat for winter, even in Victoria (just not a huge coat that is meant for the arctic!). Windsor, Ontario has the hottest summers in Canada, although its winters are colder than in Victoria.
