I'm 17, I've never been to a house party, What do American teenagers usually do in the party?

When you arrive you should casually look for the person the party is being thrown for and congradulate the person and thank him/her for having you. Then mingle with the other party guests. There should be music, maybe dancing, food and drinks, and some sort of games going on that you can take part in as well as use to start conversations with others. ie "Did you try the cake? It is very good" or "Do you happen to know the name of this song/band playing?" You know small talk - anything to get a conversation going and meeting diffrent people. Anyway just smile, be yourself, and have a good time. Thats what everyone else will be doing. And remember at any time you feel uncomfortable or just cant stand being there any longer, thank the mother for having you and go home.

At most parties, people just stand around talking. Or they sit and talk. (Or try to talk depending on how loud the music's playing.) Every party expects its guests to have a good time. That's the whole point of parties: to have fun. So relax, smile and enjoy yourself.

Just socialize with people. It's perfectly acceptable to walk up to a group of people you don't know and introduce yourself at a party. If you're nervous, keep a (non-alcoholic) drink in your hand so you don't get fidgety. Maybe even think of some things to talk about with people. It's not nearly as big of a deal as it seems in your head.

Amplify. That means, talk in "sound bites" and talk loudly (over the music). Pretend that you are part of "Americana".

you should be cool , smile always , then try to grab girls and flirt with them . then tend to dance , try to accost and attend one . accompany everything flow in the party plan eagerly . and ... have a nice time ...
