How to find welding jobs in Japan?
-
I will be moving to japan soon and I am needing to find work.
-
Answer:
Don't even bother. I'm sure there's no shortage of Japanese welders. You can't stay more than 90 days without a visa. A work visa requires at least a BA / BS degree, and a job offer before you get there. The key to working in Japan is to have a needed job skill a Japanese doesn't have.

If you're from Asia, you might be hired. No need for a BA degree or anything. Construction workers are in serious short supply and word is that the government is considering accepting more foreign workers while at the same time slackening immigration laws. The first thing you need to do would be to find a community of your people in Japan and ask them how to find a job. When there's a shortage of workers, the immigration office turns a blind eye to people staying illegally. When you are no longer needed, they will kick you out in no time.
