    I've ridden them all! I started skating, then rode a penny board then finally hopped on a longboard and haven't stopped for five years!! Longboarding is the best option as it provides a world of enjoyment, try it out as it's extremely fun!

Also I don't plan on doing tricks if I do I would just buy a different board :) I just want something that's easy to use; like around town and such :)

if your a beginner don't get a penny board. and depends on you really if you like to cruise and don't plan on doing tricks get a longboard they're smooth and go a pretty good speed and you wont waste as much energy pushing it around. Normal skateboards are good too if you have a pretty smooth surface but if you hit a pebble your done. and theres a lot of different things to do on a normal skateboard. once you start getting good you can practice tricks.
