  • Answer:

Yes you can but getting a masters in poly sci would be completely pointless. Get your bachelors, skip the masters, and just get your JD. Honestly the MA won't do you any good what-so-ever. bachelors - 4 years masters - 1 to 2 years JD - 2 years But you don't need the masters at all, so 6 years. 8 if you want the masters for some unknown reason. There are also "duel degree" JD programs where you earn a JD as well as a masters degree. A friend of mine who is going into politics is doing that at UCLA. Its a JD and a masters in public policy. The duel degree takes 4 years, so total is 8 years (and a ton of money)

Yes, you can... You can do your Bachelors in any degree you want and then apply for law school. The major doesn't make a difference. LSAT is very important. A friend got his BS in Computer Engineering. A few years later, he took his LSAT and enrolled in law school.

Bachelor - 4 years Master - 2 Bachelor of Laws - 3 years JD - 2?

You don't want to waste any time. Get a professional opinion /university counsellor on what you really need for both options.
