How to become a military nurse anesthetist?

2 ways: get a BSN and be offered a commission as a Nurse. after several years beg to be sent to school on their dime to be a CNA. odds: 50/50. it happens, but it can be tough to get approval to do so. OR Get certified/degreed on your own time and dime then get a commission. you may qualify for a sign on bonus and perhaps some loan repayment. Odds; slightly less than 50/50 as too much can happen while you are waiting to get int CNA to DQ you ( medical family size, etc)

You will need to go to Nursing School and graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. These are typically 4-year full-time student programs. After graduation, you can join the Army (or Air Force or Navy) with a contract that they will send you to CRNA school. Understand, though, that CRNA schools require you to have so many years of critical care Nursing before you are allowed into their program, and you will see that in your military contract. CRNA school is two years. My wife is an Army Nurse. She had the option to go to CRNA school but instead decided to go to law school.
