How to get a job at Old Navy?

Which navy job requires for you to jump out of the plane? and how do i get the job?

  • I dont really have a clue about the force but i would enjoy the thrills of having a career to jump. What do i have to do to get this job?

  • Answer:

Make an appointment to speak to a Navy recruiter. You can't choose a job based on your desire to jump out of airplanes. You will be assigned a job, initially, based on your skill set and the needs of the particular branch of the service. A lot of the jobs, like SEALs and ParaRescue (USAF) are elite positions that require a number of tests of strength, endurance, stability. They are jobs you earn, not simply request. Visit a recruiting office for more info. You can also look around the Navy's website. www.navy.mil Check out the Air Force as well. www.usaf.mil

Again, in order for you to earn a Trident (for Navy SEAL) and a Crab (for Navy EOD), you must be Jump Qualified. Or if you try to become a Navy SARC (another NEC within HM Rating), you will also need to be Jump Qual'd. Also, most of the SWCC's are Jump Qual'd. Btw, I am only talking about enlisted Navy personnel, not officers/pilots.

Army airborne infantry will require you jump out of planes regularly to maintain jump status. There are also many other units that use airborne insertion such as the Navy SEALs.
