Can i be an EM in the navy and afterwards become an electrician fter navy experience?

The civilian equivalent of an EM would be a Power Plant Electrician. We're talking Hoover dam turbine-generators. If you are thinking of wiring lighting and outlets in houses and buildings, the Navy job would be a Construction Electrician (CE) in the SeaBees.
