    Your in pretty good shape extra curricular is what they look at. But It's not about getting a scholarship. It's about getting a slot. For example my future university ( Michigan Tech ) don't have its program full of cadets. And it's searching to do so. Of however by any chance you want to go there. Remember the Army works by number of people they've got and need. If they meet there criteria or mark they don't need to get extra. Basically it gets more competitive because of a first come first serve thing. Because example fiscal year starts October 2014. There are a certain number of Special Forces contracts left before it gets filled up. Then you wait till next year. ( do you get the picture now )
