Jury duty "Check here to waive your jury duty fees/mileage by checking this box, will not receive payment for service" means what?
-
Are they saying that checking this box, are they talking about my Work company does not pay me or Jury Duty does not pay me? Because why would anyone go to jury duty for free
-
Answer:
It means you will not be paid the $10 or $25 that the jurisdiction pays a day for your jury service. Most people take the money because it covers parking and lunch but others see jury duty as just that a duty.
