How to style a denim light wash vest?

• I purchased a light denim vest from forever 21 and I have NO idea how to wear it? Any ideas!?!

  I have a light wash denim vest as well. Obviously don't wear jeans with it. But you can put it over a dress, just as long as the dress doesn't have a huge design to it. A simple dress, preferably solid color, possible a simple floral. But really black clothes look best with the vest. Black or white. You can take a black shirt and black short and throw it over, or black shorts and a white shirt. White shorts and a white shirt, maybe, depending on how light it is. I usually wear my long sleeve black shirt with my black shorts and it looks fine, or sometimes a black tank top. Occasionally my white tank top.
