How do they take braces off and does it hurt?

How much do braces hurt? And how long will it take for the gaps to heal?

  I know too much.... Taking the teeth out will be painful because the needle (freezing) hurts although you can sometimes ask for a gas that makes you sort of woozy. Taking the teeth OUT won't be a problem though. Putting on braces with the four gaps might be harsh though. I suggest taking Advil 2 HOURS before the procedure. Don't have anything hard for 6 days after (I suggest soup, the ones form Thrifty foods are TASTY), You won't be in pain for the first 2 hours after you get your braces out on although they might start to give you headaches after a while. The head aches won't ne enough to bother your sleep though (I had braces 1 year ago so I sort of forget though). The gaps don't take long to heal but touching anything to them for about 1-2 days might sting/hurt.
