    The only people you could ask would be face characters. They are the only ones that can talk. Aladdin is the only one I see all the time at Disneyland. You see Jack around Halloween, and Peter Pan every now and then. I have a annual pass, and I go all the time. I just walk around the park looking for characters to take photos with. I pass by where Aladdin is all the time, so I think when I am there next week I will ask him to see what he says.

There is nothing that says you can't ask. However, they will generally not "break character". If you are thinking you are going to get into a 5-10 minute debate/discussion on Kingdom Hearts you will be sorely disappointed. The best you may get is a half-hearted laugh while they play it off as the don't know what you are asking about. Or they may just ignore you and go onto the next guest.
