Is 8 cups for a calorimeter too much?

What is a cup that is 8.96 ounces if i have a measuring cup that only goes to 8 ounces? i need 9 cups that are each 8.96 ounces, how?

You times 8.96 by 9. Then divide your answer by 8. That smidgen or .08 that is over would just be a tiny pinch or drop more of whatever you are measuring.

Just throw in an extra cup and call it a day. Recipe quantities are largely arbitrary anyway.
