What does it mean to have a versatile voice?

My friend described my talking voice as passive. What does she mean?

  • So I know what passive voice in a debate means, but she said my general talking voice sounded passive. What does this even mean? Very confused, any help appreciated.

  • Answer:

Passive is the opposite of aggressive. If someone speaks in a loud, firm, strong voice they have an aggressive voice. If someone speaks in a quiet, uncertain, weak voice they have a passive voice.
