How to become a foreign language teacher?

Do I need to study a career to become a teacher of a foreign language or do I just need to be fluent on the language I want to teach?

I think that you just need the text TOEFL if you wanna teach English! some teachers just have it. Take the test in an specific school of English it cost about 1500 or 2000 pesos, you can practice in internet!
