What are Lower and Upper Division Requirements? Do they matter for Community College Transfer Students?

When you are at a community college you are taking lower division courses. When you transfer, if you have completed your lower division courses you will begin taking upper division courses. Generally you can qualify for upper division courses once you have completed 60 semester units, but they do not have upper division at a community college. Basically just ignore it since you have the transfer requirements. You are confusing yourself over upper division and lower division
