What's the difference between humanities and social science classes?

I have to take two of each, and all I've have taken is intro to sociology and I didn't like it at all. What kind of classes are they? Thank you

Humanities is a pretty general term. This includes stuff like literature, classics (which includes ancient history and language), writing courses, etc, etc. Social Science would be more like anthropology, history, political science, etc.
