Older Chevy is known to be easy and cheap to work on, Ford is supposed to not break as often, I like El Camino myself. I have driven some older international trucks and seam to be naturally powerful trucks. 1980 and before there is not all this electronic or computer junk or extra stuff to go wrong. I think I would go back a few more years for dodge, them are pretty nice too, love the sound when they start, mostly the starter. I don't know it is a matter of own preference....
