Whose your favorite philosopher/ philosophy and whats better mental or physical pleasures?

I like Epicurus but then I ever towards Berkeley. Do you really think Kant says anything or are you just impressed by his impenetrability. Try Kierkegaard if you want impenetrability, because unlike Kant, he is actually saying something.

Hmm, idk, toughie, dont have an answer really, i honestly havent delved into the works of enough philosophers to really give a great answer. Though i think Socrates' method of elenchus is still a very relevant tool in conducting discussion and decision making, though he did tend to be somewhat abusive with it by cornering his interlocutors without really contributing his own views to the argument. Regardless he was a very influential figure and the first one that came to mind really x) Technically speaking, all experiences are mental, so i'd go with mental ;) but i see what you're saying. It'd be pretty lonely without any means of communication though, im slightly confused by what you mean by pleasures.
