Im trying to figure out whats harder in college, Nuclear engineering or mechanical engineering.?

They're both hard but I think that mechanical engineering is harder cause you have to really know the laws of mechanics, newtonian laws, and it is more applied in the real world.

I studied Mechanical. I know 3 people who studied Nuclear. 1 of them took 7 years to graduate. 1 of them decided to switch out of Nuclear and go for mechanical. 1 of them decided to study both mechanical and nuclear and he is graduating next semester after 4.5 years. There is no engineering major that is harder than the other engineering major. It depends on the person. Engineering degrees have the same amount of math, regardless of what people say. But they differ slightly in the level of science. The easier major will be the field you find the most interesting. One thing I learned from my friends is that Nuclear Engineering courses are not offered as often as ME courses. This makes it tough to register for them with the limited # of seats. Once the seats are filled, you will have to wait as long as a whole year before you get the chance to register again. This is why it took my one friend 7 years to graduate in Nuclear Engineering.
