How to change input value in formly?

Should I change the input capacitance value of a common emitter amplifier when my input signal's frequency ranges changes?

  • if it should be changed, what is the reason? What is the relationship of impedance to this?

  • Answer:

Assuming you mean the DC blocking coupling capacitor, the capacitor impedance at the operating frequency has to be minimized. For lower frequencies a larger capacitor has a lower impedance. At radio frequencies above about 50MHz, a capacitor my have enough inductance to be an issue. For broadband amplifiers, it is common to parallel a large and a small capacitor. http://www.capacitorguide.com/parasitic-inductance/

Yes, because capacitor has reactant Xc according to the frequency that affect the gain of that stage while we design it. Xc = 1 / 6.28FC For UHF band, most circuit uses 1pF till 10pF, For AM band, most circuit uses 500pF till 0.01uF. For AF amplifier ,most circuit uses 5uF till 50uF. For DC amplifier, do not use any capacitor.
