Should I take a multivitamin with iron or just iron supplements?

your doctor told you to get an iron supplement. go get the iron supplement. a multivitamin with iron would have you duplicating a lot of your prenatal vitamins & you don't want to do that. I will also recommend that you eat 1 or two prunes a day as well because the iron supplement is going to give you a little bit of constipation.
