How can I make my own blog about random things?

How do I make my beauty blog more popular so that maybe companies send me things to review?

    Some blogs will track your own views so this is not a good indicator or traffic. I find statcounter works well but I digress... You need to promote the hell out of your blog for the next month to make it work. Look up ways to do it on Google.

Well...if people don't know it is out there, they are not going to read it. You need to learn how to promote it - this is not easy work since you are trying to convince people to read your blog without sounding like you are advertising your blog. I would suggest going to somewhere like HubSpot and going through some of their posts about promoting accounts and really learning how to promote your site. Don't expect to get to the point of getting freebies for at least 9 months to a year - and then only if you are good about keeping your blog up to date (3 or more posts a week), getting readers, etc.
