What type of "ear care solution" is it? Most of them, like the ones you get at Claire's or Walmart, are garbage and contain additives that irritate your piercing and should not be used. Sea salt soaks are the best things for healing piercings. Take 1/4 tsp of non-iodized sea salt to 8 ounces of warm water, put it in a bowl or cup, and soak your piercings 5-10 minutes twice daily. Other than that, Don't touch it with dirty hands, ever. Don't play with the jewelry, this includes twisting it (something untrained morons tell you to do) Keep your hair clean if you have long hair that touches the piercings Don't remove the jewelry or change it until fully healed unless you're having problems with the jewelry itself. Ear lobe piercings take 3-4 months to fully heal. Signs of infections: Dark yellow or green pus with an odor to it (light yellow/clear/white discharge is normal, it's called lymph) Very sore Very red Warm to the touch Take care of it and you should have no problems, though if you got your ears pierced with a gun your chance of infection is increased right from the start because piercing guns can NOT be sterilized.
