What roles do employees with wall street background typically take on at Start-ups?

• I have experience in IB with a large BB bank. I wish to transition to Silicon Valley but when I search for job openings, all of them seem to be development jobs. I know there are a lot of Quorans who have transitioned from Finance to Start-ups. What roles do they typically take on at start ups? I only have 1.5 years of experience so any senior role is out of the question.

  My senior director at Express Scripts worked at Citi in Wall street. He joined as a director at express scripts when it was fairly young. In any case, you get into senior positions. However, it depends what position you are talking about when you left wall street. My senior directors left as VP at Citi to join as Director at Express Scripts.
