That is, they never existed for you Piracy does not equal theft. Theft is - You have a book, someone steals the book, and boom! you don't have that physical book Piracy is - You have a book, someone makes a copy of that book and boom! you STILL have that book Piracy gives good publicity If people genuinely like a book, they WILL buy it If you call eBook sharing - piracy, then what about the good old tradition of "borrowing books"? Wasn't that robbing the author? Similarly, people using the public libraries are the biggest robbers. So many read the same book, but none of them have paid the author
