Edit delete contact is not working in Yahoo Mail - IE11/Win7. Will yahoo fix this please.

I have a contact that has reproduced itself and now have 5000 contacts in my contacts...when i try to delete or merge, yahoo says it can not merge and an error (-99999) has occurred. What, pray tell do i do!?!?!?!?!
