Can you disable a Hotmail account?

Will an iCloud account be deleted if you don't sign in for a long period?

Most famous email services, like Gmail, Outlook (Hotmail) or Yahoo! Mail, may disable and/or delete an account if it is inactive for more than a certain period (usually several months). Gmail, for example, may disable your account if you do not log in for 9 consecutive months, and definitely delete it after other 3 more months of inactivity. What about Apple iCloud?
Answer:

From the Terms and Conditions: Apple may terminate your Account upon prior notice via email to the address associated with your Account if (a) your Account has been inactive for one (1) year;
