WHY do east Asian people have small slanted eyes?

Why do white people and black people have similar looking eyes with eyelid creases but Asians have slanted eyes with monolids?

This is why Asians and Hispanics have tiny eyes that look like lines. No racism intended. Some say that black people and white people also have deep set eyes. This is the whole reason to why Asians have very small eyes. This is why Asians can't see well (just kidding). In the end, humans adapt to their environments.

Good question. You shouldn't feel like you are being offensive. It's a good question! The reason is quite simle: When African people migrated (out of Africa some 100,000 years ago) and became what we now call Asian people their environment was significantly colder/harsher, winter-y and so evolution (via natural selection) adapted their eyes to be more "slanted" to protect them from the harsher weather. This is normal and expected. It obviously serves no purpose today -- vestigial. But it is yet another sign of our rich evolutionary past and how we are genetically African people -- only time and the environment has changed our appearance (e.g. darker skin is way more efficient for hotter climates -- skin cancer is non-existent among dark people, but because Whites have lost their darker skin when they migrated out of Africa they are now more prone to skin cancer especially with global warming becoming a big issue).
