Hi. Try restarting Windows, then plug the USB disk to another USB port different to the one you tried initially. Usually external disk are plug and play, so no drivers needed. If issue persist, go to Windows Device Manager. and look for errors there (if so, right click, and choose Install driver from Internet). Hope this helps.

You typically don't need special drivers as Windows provided drivers should work fine. Your system obviously sees the device. Can you not access the drive from file explorer?
