How to wire 2 dvc subs to mono amp?

How do i properly wire a monoblock amp to two dvc subs ?. if the volume is up past 15 when my car is started the amp goes into protection .?

  Your amp is good for loads for 2-8 ohms. I believe your subs have two 4Ω coils each, so if you wired them all in parallel, the total impedance would be 1Ω, too low for your amp. You can't put them all in series, either, because your total impedance would then be 16Ω, but you can wire the coils in parallel and the drivers in series, or vice versa (two series-connected pairs of coils wired in parallel). Be very careful about the phase! I recommend testing your system at low volume to ensure the speakers are in phase and operating. Wiring two voice coils in parallel with opposite polarity can be very bad for your speakers.
