Why can't I get macmail to use my yahoo server?

I can't get my mac mail to connect to the yahoo server to send and receive email. I get a message telling me that it cannot send a message using the server ymail.com. And at ...show more

I've just found the same but haven't upgraded to OS X Maverick so suspect it is a failure on the part of Yahoo to renew their security certificate. Looks like it's happened before if you google a question on the issue. I shall wait for a bit and see what other comments arise but doubt it's a big problem. Not much help, I'm afraid
